Why not take time out for yourself and spend a day in a supportive and reflective space to think about what you really want from your worklife? By the end of the day, you will have developed a Career Action Plan to enable you to take the next step in your career. A very positive action in following Steve’s advice to ‘keep looking’.

What a truly creative and inspiring evening ……

‘I felt a renewed burst of energy from all the creativity in the room last night. I was positively spewing out creative ideas today……Mary, you’ve got to do more of these!’ Feedback from a participant in ‘Do You Know What You Really Want?’ last night.

The workshop was a great success. The lovely cosy room in the Lantern Centre was strewn with magazines, coloured card, pictures, pritt stick and scissors as people flicked through magazines …. cutting, sticking and filling in their Vision Boards. It was truly inspiring.

Do You Know What You Really Want?

Only 6 days to go to the Career Building workshop ‘Do You Know What You Really Want? Last Sunday, I ran a Vision Board workshop for a group of 22 – it was such fun and each Vision Board was unique, individual and inspiring. I can’t wait for next week. Do You Know What You Really Want?

For those of you job searching or considering a change of career, why not pause for a moment before starting on the journey of planning, preparing and pursuing. Why not take a moment to reflect on what you really want from your work life?

This evening is about tapping into your own inner resources to visualise and experience what you really want. To create a career mind movie, to sit in that dream for a while, to pretend you have it already. What would it feel like to have that new job? What is the experience?

You will then create your own Career Vision Board, sometimes called a Career Dream Board, filled with pictures, affirmations and text that represent the experience that you want in your new job or career. To manifest your vision, you can take your Career Vision Board home with you, hang it somewhere that you will see it every day and then enjoy the journey!
