Following the great feedback from our last evening, I thought that it would be interesting to take a look at Skills this month.

Have you ever wondered ‘What are My Skills’?  For those of you job searching or considering a change of career, the first step to opening up your career horizons is to identify your transferable skills. This evening is designed to help you identify the skills that you enjoy using and that will give you a sense of satisfaction and fulfilment in your work.

At the end of the evening you will have identified your key transferable skills as well as skills that you may wish to develop.  With this valuable information, you will be in a position to review job descriptions with clarity about the work that will give you satisfaction while meeting the employers’ requirements.  You will also be clear on which skills you wish to include in your CV.

Workshop Details: Tuesday 9th April 7pm – 9.30pm in The Lantern Centre on 17 Synge St, Dublin 8. (Park in the school yard, room is in basement beside Lantern on Synge St itself).  Cost €15. There will be a cup of tea afterwards to share the experience with like-minded people.
